After an initial stint of three years in N.R.S Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata, Dr. Das went to U.K for in-depth study and advanced experience in Trauma & Orthopaedics. He has gained more than 15 years of world class experience in Orthopaedics, most of which can be attributed to his stint overseas, from 1996 to 2010. Currently, he is associated with Apollo Gleneagles, Bellevue clinic, AMRI Dhakuria and Desun Hospital, Kolkata, besides our hospital.

Dr. Biplab Kumar Dolui

Dr. Dolui brings with him more than 7 years of rich experience in the area of Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery. His career spans experience in prestigious colleges like Calcutta Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata; N.R.S Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata and Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science and Research, New Delhi.
Being an avid academician, Dr. Dolui has many publications to his credit namely Total Knee Replacement in Ankylosed Knee (Aug. 2005), Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction Using Bone-Pattelar Tendon-Bone: 14 years Follow up Study (Apr. 2007), Tuberculosis knee- An Unusual Presentation (Feb. 2007).
Presentations like A Study of the Result of Operative Management of Interlcondylar Distal Humerus Fracture in Adults in the XIX Annual Conference of West Bengal Orthopaedic Association(Feb.2001), Closed Interlocking Intramedullary Fixation of Fracture Shaft Humerus in the XXI Annual Conference of West Bengal Orthopaedic Association(Feb.2003) are some of the important contributions of Dr. Dolui.
Dr. Suranjan Nag

Qualifications & Fellowships: D.Orth (CMC, Vellore), DNB Orth (CMC, Vellore)
After graduating from Calcutta Medical College & Hospital, Dr. Nag joined CMC, Vellore as post-graduate trainee to gather hands-on experience in orthopaedics & Trauma surgery. He has the requisite expertise to conduct the whole gamut of surgeries under Orthopaedics viz. Trauma - Adult & Paediatric, Polytrauma, Joint Replacements, Arthroscopy, Hand Surgery etc. which he has successfully carried out in the past. Besides us, he is also associated with AMRI Salt Lake.

Dr. Sumita Saha
Designation: Head Consultant in Paediatrics & Neonatology

Dr. Saha brings with her more than 8 years of world class experience in Paediatrics and Neonatology. She has independently managed extremely challenging situations and is adept in handling all aspects of treatment of extremely premature neonates like complicated neonatal resuscitation, intubation, peripheral long line insertion, peripheral arterial line insertion, umbilical venous, arterial line insertion, chest drains etc. Despite Neonatology, being her principal love she has also gathered an all-round experience in managing different levels of paediatric conditions.

Dr. Krishnakali Bhattacharyya

Dr. Bhattacharyya has graduated from N.R.S Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata and she represents the new breed of paediatricians in the area of Neonatology and Paediatrics. Her career has been brilliant and she has won many accolades and scholarships during her graduation.

Dr. Indranil Sau

Dr. Sau brings with him more than 10 years of world class experience in Paediatric Surgery. He has been thoroughly involved in teaching assignments and has undertaken many clinical and non-clinical international courses for continuous value addition to the existing knowledge base.
He has many papers and abstracts to his credit namely H Type Posterior Cloaca(Mar.2004), Cystoscopic removal of a stent using a suture, lasso(Dec.2005) among publications and Gastric Perforation of the Neonate-a rare presentation of necrotizing enterocolitis, Laparoscopic Nephrectomy in Children (Apr.2004) among abstracts.
